Description
Armacell Tubolit Split is a pre-insulated copper refrigerant line, supplied as a 25-metre coil. You can choose the pipe diameter from the options: 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" or 5/8". The line is designed for connecting indoor and outdoor units in split, multi-split and heat pump systems.
Design and Properties
- Copper pipe: annealed refrigerant copper pipe according to EN 12735-1
- Insulation: polyethylene-based foam with a polyolefin copolymer coating
- Join-Split technology: the insulation can be separated and rejoined without tools
- Fire rating: Euroclass B(L)-s1,d0
- Temperature range: -50 to +100 °C

Do I need two coils for an air conditioner?
Usually, yes. A split unit is connected with a liquid line and a gas line, which usually have different diameters, for example 1/4" and 3/8". You can find the diameters in your unit's technical data.

Installation and commissioning of an air conditioner must be carried out by a certified specialist company. Self-installation is not intended.
