The Bosch Climate 3200i actively cools, heats and purifies the indoor air. The set combines the CL3200iU W 26 E indoor unit with the CL3000i 26 E outdoor unit. Compared to the 3000i series, an ionizer for air purification has been added. The inverter compressor continuously adjusts the power output instead of constantly switching on and off, which reduces power consumption and keeps the room temperature constant. As a guide, the power class is suitable for rooms of approximately 20 to 26 m²^*.

Performance and range of application

The set delivers 2.6 kW cooling and 2.9 kW heating capacity, which corresponds to around 9,000 BTU. In cooling mode, the system operates at outdoor temperatures between minus 15 and plus 50 °C, in heating mode between minus 20 and plus 24 °C. With an SEER of 7.4 and SCOP of 4.1, it achieves energy efficiency class A++ in cooling and A+ in heating.

The stated area of approximately 20 to 26 m²^* is a guideline for standard room height and normal insulation standards, not a binding design. Which power class is right for your property depends on room height, insulation standards, window areas, shading, as well as the number of people and devices. A system that is too small will run continuously at full load, while one that is too large will cycle and consume electricity unnecessarily. Inverter and heat pump operation

The inverter compressor adjusts its speed to the actual demand. At startup, the system runs at high power, then reduces to the required power and maintains the temperature without noticeable fluctuations. In heating mode, the device operates as an air-to-air heat pump and uses the heat of the outdoor air down to minus 20 °C.

Air quality and purification

The ionizer purifies the indoor air and is the feature that sets the 3200i series apart from the 3000i series. In addition, there is an HD filter and a catalytic filter. The iClean self-cleaning freezes the heat exchanger and then quickly defrosts it, which loosens adhering dust, mold and grease.

Control and comfort

What distinguishes the 3200i series from the 3000i series?

The 3200i offers the same range of functions as the 3000i and adds an ionizer for air purification. The other functions, such as inverter operation, iClean and Follow-Me, are available in both series.

Is the installation set included in the price?

The installation set is an optional addition and is added via the variant selection. Without a selected installation set, the delivery includes only the indoor unit, outdoor unit and remote control. The set is available in lengths of 3 to 12 meters.

Can I control the system via an app?

The WLAN control is not included as standard. You need a separate WLAN module for this, which we supply upon request. As standard, the system is operated using the included remote control.

What pipe connections does the device have?

The connections have 6.35 mm for the liquid line, i.e. 1/4 inch, and 9.52 mm for the gas line, i.e. 3/8 inch. The optional installation set is designed for these sizes.

Can I heat with the device in winter?

Heating mode is possible down to minus 20 °C outdoor temperature. The available power decreases as the outdoor temperature falls, which is why the system is suitable as a supplement to the existing heating system.

How loud is the device?

The indoor unit operates at 20, 22, 32 or 37 dB(A) depending on the fan speed. The manufacturer specifies 55.5 dB(A) for the outdoor unit.

Am I allowed to install the air conditioner myself?

The installation and commissioning of a split air conditioner is carried out by a certified specialist company. Self-installation is not intended.
